My philosophy

Each person’s story is unique, and the challenges we face can touch every part of life — mind, body, and relationships. In my practice, I focus on supporting clients through trauma, anxiety, fertility challenges, and life transitions with care that honors the whole person.

Specialties

Trauma & PTSD

Trauma can leave deep imprints on both the mind and body, often showing up as anxiety, hypervigilance, sleep issues, or a lingering sense of unease. In therapy, we focus on understanding how these experiences affect your present life, supporting nervous system regulation, and building skills for stability and resilience. My approach combines talk therapy with somatic (body-centered) practices, helping you move from surviving to truly living.

Anxiety & Stress

When anxiety or stress feels constant, it can make daily life exhausting. You may find yourself overthinking, struggling to relax, or feeling physically tense. In our work together, we’ll explore practical strategies and mindfulness tools to calm your nervous system, shift unhelpful thought patterns, and create more ease in your everyday life.

Fertility counseling

Fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, or the uncertainty of treatment can bring up grief, stress, and a sense of isolation. These experiences often affect not just the body, but also emotions, relationships, and self-worth. In therapy, we create space to process the wide range of feelings that can arise, find strategies to reduce stress, and support you in staying grounded and resilient as you move through this deeply personal journey.

Life Transitions

Major life changes — whether planned or unexpected — can leave you feeling uncertain, overwhelmed, or ungrounded. Transitions such as career shifts, moving, changes in relationships, or grieving a loss can stir strong emotions and disrupt your sense of stability. In therapy, we’ll create a supportive space to navigate these changes, strengthen coping strategies, and cultivate clarity and steadiness as you move forward.

Treatment Modalities

Sand Tray Therapy

 Sand Tray Therapy is a creative, experiential way to explore emotions, thoughts, and life challenges. Using miniature figures and symbolic objects in a sandbox, you can externalize inner experiences, uncover patterns, and gain new perspectives. This method encourages insight, reflection, and personal growth in a safe, non-verbal, and collaborative space. It can be used on its own or alongside other therapeutic approaches to deepen understanding and support resilience. 

Yoga Therapy

 Yoga Therapy combines ancient yogic wisdom with modern psychological insight to support emotional and physical well-being. This therapeutic approach weaves together yoga philosophy, breathwork, mindfulness, gentle movement, and meditation to help you connect with your body, regulate your nervous system, and build a deeper sense of inner safety. Unlike a traditional yoga class, it is not a physical workout, and no prior yoga experience is needed. 

Mindfulness- Based Cognitive therapy (MBCT)

Blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with mindfulness practices. Together, we explore unhelpful thought patterns, cultivate awareness, and develop practical strategies to respond more skillfully to life’s challenges. 

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a structured, evidence-based therapy that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories so they no longer carry the same emotional intensity. Using an eight-phase protocol, EMDR supports the integration of traumatic experiences, allowing you to feel more grounded, resilient, and emotionally regulated. 

Positive psychology

 Focuses on strengths, resilience, and what brings meaning to life. Rather than only addressing challenges, this approach highlights what’s working well, helping to build hope, confidence, and overall well-being.
